This four day course is a fast-paced, instructor-led tour of Microsoft Office Performance Point Server 2007. The purpose of the course is to provide students with general and detailed information on the deployment, architecture and utilization of Performance Point Server to monitor and analyze key business metrics as well as plan and model business metrics. During the four days of
class through lecture and hands-on exercises students will:
- Be familiarized with a comprehensive view of Office Performance Point system architecture.
- Learn how to build business models and how to add and maintain dimensions to Office Performance Point Server.
- Create security roles and users
- Create and manage Performance Point cycles
- Link users with cycles
- Build forms and reports using the Performance Point Server Add-In for Excel
- Create and maintain rule based calculations and data handling within Performance Point Planning
- Monitor and analyze key business metrics with Performance Point dashboards and scorecards
