Outline
Module 1: Creating reports using the Table and Matrix Wizard.
The students will be introduced creating and connecting to a data source. The students will then use the data source to create a report, format the report, and add charts.
Lessons
Lesson 1: Working with Data Sources
Lesson 2: Creating a report using the Table and Matrix Wizard
Lesson 3: Formatting and adding charts to the report
Lab: Creating and using a data source to build a report
Exercise 1: Create and connect to data source
Exercise 2: Build report using Table and Matrix Wizard
Exercise 3: Format report
Exercise 4: Add charts to report
After completing this module, students will be able to:
Create and connect to a data source, and create a basic report against the data source.
Module 2: Advanced Report Techniques.
The students will use Advanced techniques to show data in a gauge, manually create a report, and add parameters to the report.

Lesson 1: Adding a gauge to the report
Lesson 2: Working with the Tablix data region
Lesson 3: Manual report creation
Lesson 4: Using parameters in the report
Lab: Creating and using a data source to build a report
Exercise 1: Using the gauge data region
Exercise 2: Manual report creation (instead of using the wizard).
Exercise 3: Using parameters and filters in the report.
After completing this module, students will be able to:
Manually create reports, and add gauges and parameters to reports.
