Course Overview
This 3-day, fast-paced, instructor-led course provides students with the
knowledge and skills to plan, design, implement, manage and troubleshoot a
Windows 2008 Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment. A mixture of lecture
and a focus on 'hands-on' labs (instructor-led and self-paced) are used to
enforce and reinforce needed skills to manage and troubleshoot a Public Key
Infrastructure.
Businesses are requiring PKI Certificate Authority (CA) for many
technologies and products to include Encrypted File System (EFS), secure email,
digital signing of documents, software packages and drivers; user, service and
computer authentication; securing communication such as SSL, IPSEC and 802.1x
wired and wireless; Office Communication Server (OCS); System Center products,
Network Access Protection (NAP); Terminal Services; SharePoint Server; Rights
Management Services (RMS); BitLocker; SQL and many more.

Prerequisites

equivalent experience:

MCTS: AD (Windows 2008)

OR
