Watching the Instructor's Presentation

Web Conferencing Software
Youā€™re probably familiar with web conferencing software that letā€™s you meet and collaborate with colleagues in different locations. The same kind of software is used in delivering our QS Live classes. Internet conferencing technology lets you to see what is happening on the instructor's PC as they demonstrate how to use the course software. Itā€™s also used with other technologies used to create the QS Live learning experience as the conduit for other aspects of the instructor's presentation such as PowerPoint slides, whiteboard work, and the classroom image on the web camera.

Electronic Whiteboard
The electronic whiteboard technology delivers the instructor's whiteboard work to your computer screen at your the remote workstation.

The Virtual Classroom Experience
A web camera is placed in the classroom so you may intermittently throughout the day put a face with the instructor's voice, and see your peers in the live classroom. The video is transmitted through the conferencing software and is available in a small window on the screen you can control to view the class or not. Also, you are able to provide your image to the class using a webcam of your own.

Listening to the Presentation and Participating in Class Discussions

Speaker Phones
We use a high-quality audio bridge and speakerphones to broadcast the instructor's presentation. This dedicated phone conference bridge and audio conferencing creates an informal conversational atmosphere that encourages interaction with the live class and all remote students. You'll be able to speak naturally and engage as you would in a regular class.

Hands-on Exercises and Getting Help

Remote Desktop Software
Remote desktop software connects you to a PC in the classroom with the classroom labs, virtual PC images, and instructor. This allows your instructor to see and interact as you work through the course exercises and labs. Should you need help, the instructor can provide assistance or even take control of your computer.
