Wonderware/Invensys has a proven history of creating some of the most advanced and Human/Machine Interface software in the world. Seeing the value of .NET technologies, Wonderware/Invensys set out to upgrade the skills of their developers.
With 13,000 individuals migrating from the care of the Department of Child and Family Services in one of the largest counties in the United States to their self-sufficiency program, an immediate need arose to migrate from their legacy mainframe records and reporting systems to the Microsoft .NET platform. Instead of outsourcing the development of this new system, DCFS chose to upgrade the skills of their developer team to develop an in-house system to meet their growing needs.
