It uses replication, the Volume Shadow Copy Services infrastructure, and a rich policy-driven engine to provide businesses of all sizes with better control of their recovery infrastructure, continuous protection, and rapid data recovery at the lowest TCO.

Virtual Server Objectives
The objective of this lab is to introduce you to the basic and advanced features of Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2.

After completing the labs you will have:
•Installed Virtual Server
•Created virtual machines
•Started virtual machines
•Configured Virtual Server and virtual machine settings
•Used Sysprep to quickly provision multiple guests
•Used advanced features of Virtual Server, including undo and differencing disks
•Used a script to create virtual machines
•An understanding of the benefits of Virtual Server host clustering

DPM Objectives
These labs introduce Microsoft System Center DPM 2006 and some storage technologies from Microsoft® Corporation.

After completing the labs you will have:
•Installed the infrastructure for DPM
•Installed the DPM Server
•Installed the DPM File Server Agent
•Learned some basic functions of DPM

TARGET AUDIENCE:

PREREQUISITES:
