Audience:
This course targets individuals who plan, design, deploy and maintain a physical and a logical Windows Server 2012 enterprise Active Directory® Domain Services (AD DS).
They must also have prior working experience as a server operator and must have the necessary skills for Windows Server 2012 certification Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
Prerequisite:
This course requires excellent Windows client and server OS skills and also fundamental AD DS networking experience. Working experience in an enterprise environment is also a must. Students shall also have the following technical understanding:
- Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) basics
- Fundamental networking concepts
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2012 R2 and Active Directory® Domain Services (AD DS) including domain user accounts, domain vs. local user accounts, user profiles, and group membership.
- A strong grasp on the concepts of script and batch files
- Security concepts including authentication and authorization
- Understanding of deployment, packaging, and imaging tools
- Should be a team player
- Strong documentation and communication skills so that the person can create appropriate proposals
- Understanding of the concepts taught in Windows 2012 R2 MCSA
