Program Courses

Cybersecurity Bootcamp is a rigorous training program designed to meet the ever-increasing demand for cybersecurity talent. Our goal is to help students and professionals learn in-demand IT skills that allow them to embark upon more rewarding career paths.


At the end of the 28 weeks of training, you will have a firm understanding of software systems, operating systems, data communication, networks, and information security. You’ll also master the practical skills required to test software systems for vulnerabilities and learn how to protect against malicious attacks.

Learn how operating systems work, their role in modern systems, and essential troubleshooting techniques.

Course 2: Networking Fundamentals

Learn how disparate components connect to form complex networks. Master the concepts of popular communication protocols, the configuration of routers/switches, and TCP/IP implementation.

Course 3: Security Fundamentals

Learn data security and auditing fundamentals. Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks. It also includes a primer on industry best practices of securing software and hardware assets.

Project Labs

Labs are an interactive experience where you access remote environments and participate in coding exercises, development scenarios, and hands-on training in a remote desktop scenario.

Mr. Gansmiller has several years of experience in developing and writing network and security policy for the U.S. Department of Energy. His work has given him extensive insight into NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) policy requirements as well as all aspects of the U.S. Department of Defense STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guide).

His classes are engaging seminars for students, rather than the typical "death by PowerPoint" method where the trainer reads a set of PowerPoint slides, resulting in a drowning interest.

Take Courses

Start your learning journey by watching online content and interacting with a mentor for feedback. Mentor sessions are twice-weekly real-time conversations.

Step 3:

Develop Practical Cybersecurity Skills

Cybersecurity is a highly dynamic area of study since new threats emerge every day. Combating these threats is only possible if you have a firm grasp on the fundamentals of how software systems work and communicate. Our bootcamp will establish a strong foundational knowledge and build on top of this base to teach you practical cybersecurity skills. This includes Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking.

Step 4:

Earn a Certificate

Once you are done with the course content and related projects, you are awarded a Certificate of Achievement from CSUP Extend Studies.

Step 5:

Career Couselling

After you graduate, our career counselors will continue mentoring you until you secure a full-time Cybersecurity/Information Security role in a firm.
