About this course

The Implementing Cisco Collaboration Applications course is a 5-day intermediate level IT ops training program designed to help students understand how Cisco Unified IM and Presence, Cisco Unity Express, and Cisco Unity Connection can be integrated for optimized collaboration. Being a comprehensive training program, the Implementing Cisco apps course focuses on troubleshooting and deployment of voice messaging.

The course also equips students with the knowledge and skills required to troubleshoot Cisco Unified Communications Manager integrated with Cisco Unified IM and Cisco Jabber. Since the course covers a variety of topics and concepts, it can also be used for the preparation of the Cisco 300-460 CLDINF exam.

Course objectives

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Implement Cisco Unity Connection in a Cisco Unified Communications Manager deployment

  • Understand how Cisco Unity Express can be implemented in a deployment for Cisco Unified Communications Manager

  • Understand how BYOD can be used to implement Cisco Unified IM and Cisco Jabber Mobile and Desktop

  • Integrate Cisco TMS and Cisco VCS in a Cisco collaboration deployment

Audience

Network administrators, network engineers, systems engineers, and candidates of the CCNP collaboration certification are recommended to opt for this course.

Prerequisites

Students of the course are recommended to grasp computer networking concepts and understand how digital interfaces work. Additionally, it is recommended that you understand how routers and switches can be configured and operated, and the basics of converged voice and data networks.

    Will I get my certificate upon completion?

    Yes. Upon completion of the course, it will be available on your course as a Trophy Icon for you to download. If you do not see this, you will need to contact support@quickstart.com with the following details so they can email you the certificate: Class Name, Class Date, Account Rep, and Your Email.


    I cannot connect to my lab. Help!

    Your Lab is accessible on the bottom part of your course. You will see a button that says "LAB". Just click it to launch the lab. Please note that some classes don’t need/require a LAB. You can also check with your Instructor or the Associate Instructor if your class includes one.

    I don't have audio. I can't hear the instructor.
