Course Objectives:

· Configure parallel NFS (pNFS) clustered ONTAP 9 for NFSv3, NFSv4, and NFSv4.1

· Examine performance troubleshooting and management for NetApp and client storage systems

· Understanding of Windows PowerShell CLI

· Manage and create SMB sessions and shares

· Explore advanced SMB issues, like BranchCache, opportunistic locks, group policy, audit, symbolic ties, automatic home shares, and Widelinks

· Understanding of NFS protocol versions

· Install Kerberos in a NetApp ONTAP 9 and Linux environment by authenticating the Windows AD

· Define SMB and CIFS protocol

· Use ONTAP 9 software to configure SMB features

· Securing SMB sessions

· Configure ONTAP for the access to multiprotocol data

· Recognize the tools and commands 

used to monitor and collect the output of the storage device

· Using system features and commands to boost the efficiency and performance of your storage system
