About this course
This lab-intensive and instructor guided course- Securing Cisco Networks with Cisco FireSIGHT Intrusion Prevention System(IPS) allows students to acquire knowledge of the characteristics of Cisco FireSIGHT system, IPS configuration and tuning, SNORT rule language and in-depth event analysis.
This course further helps you to learn how to completely utilize the powerful tools for better event analysis and network-based malware and file type detection. Along with this, you will also be taught to configure and use next-generation Cisco IPS technology, firewall, switching and routing skills and application handling. Lastly, how to improve systems for wider network intelligence and enhanced performance.
This course will also help the candidates to prepare for Cisco: 500-285 exam. The students will be provided lecture hardcopies and hands-on labs throughout the course to ensure better learning.
