Reading the book and performing the exercises are extremely difficult without understanding the theory. Jeff did a wonderful job walking through the process step by step to show and explain each step. He posed questions and was open to questions and made the effort to show that he desire for us to understand what was being presented. I have worked over 10 years in the IT industry when taking this training.

The instructor was friendly and professional. He can be more involved while helping students with the labs though but it is partly due to the virtual training environment which makes it a bit challenging. I have worked over 10 years in the IT industry when taking this training.

Jeff had a wide variety of examples to go with every module we covered. All related to different types of industry. I have worked 7-10 years in the IT industry when taking this training.

Jeff was good at including interesting real world anecdotes but the demos were too similar to what was covered in the coursework and labs. I don't feel like I gained much more than I would have from simply reading the course material and doing the labs on my own. I have worked 3-5 years in the IT industry when taking this training.

I liked how the instructor gave real life examples when applicable.

Lots of reading slides from the ‘book’ that had missing sections. Make it less like Trump University or ITT tech and more like actual class room seminar, with group and skill building training.

The labs did not explain why certain steps were taken. The were just listed to do. A technical note would have been useful in many areas.

Would of like to have more time on the Report building tool. He was very helpful and gave out other information that would help me in my job tasks. Ask if we have one form we would like to know how to do. Maybe show some tips on how to do it.

It would have been helpful if the demonstrations were using real world examples. The demonstrations just showed what was in the training books which were okay.

Jon seemed to have excellent knowledge of the subject matter. He did a decent job working around the technical difficulties. Blue Buffalo training should be upgraded or replaced.

Saskia is the best. Incredibly knowledge and does a great job of giving real world examples. It would be nice if at home students could either call in w/ their phone. Would be great to use speaker phone and not have to use a headset.

It would be nice to do a lab with the instructor explaining what the steps are accomplishing along the way.

-
What would be helpful is to integrate the labs with the lectures on a more granular basis. Long lectures followed by long labs fails to reinforce the lecture principles. He obviously had a wealth of experience

You probably can't. I just need to practice until I understand the material.

Please drop the section on Data Mining, it's far too complex and deep to be included on a basic course on reporting
