About this course:

The VMware vSphere course is a five-day training course, with which you learn about the new complex features and how to troubleshoot the incompetence of the VMware vCenter Server® 6x environment.

This course comprises of real-world scenarios, hands-on experiments, and interactive lectures for you to learn in a better manner. The course covers the VMware vSphere® Client™, VMware vRealize® Log lnsight™, and other essential tools.

Course Objective:

After completing the course, students shall be able to:

  • Make complete use of vSphere and the command line interface to identify and solve vulnerabilities in the vSphere environment
  • List and explain the principles and procedures
  • Make complete use of VMware vSphere and the command line interface to identify and solve vulnerabilities in the vSphere environment
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues
  • Implement and solve different cluster failure scenarios
  • Identify common VMware vSphere® High Availability problems and formulate solutions
  • Troubleshoot problems related to virtual machine migration (VMware vSphere® vMotion®), and improve resource use (VMware vSphere® Distributed Resource Scheduler™)
  • Troubleshoot and solve VMware vCenter Server® issues
  • Identify and resolve VMware ESXi™ host problems, and analyze failure scenarios

Prerequisite:

Before enrolling for the course, we recommend you to complete at least one of the following:

  • VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5-DCV)
  • VMware vSphere: Fast Track [V6.5]
  • VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.7]
  • Equivalent knowledge and administration experience with ESXi and vCenter Server

Furthermore, the working experience of the command line interface will help you understand the concepts better, also VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [V6.7] training is mandatory.
