Introduction To JavaScript

This course starts with the fundamentals of JavaScript programming and discusses OOP, event handling DOM, and advanced syntax. By this point in your journey, you will have learned to make a website from scratch (HTML5), and how to customize the appearance of the pages on your website (CSS3). Learning JavaScript will enable you to build and support interactive elements on your site.

About JavaScript

JavaScript is a high-level, object-oriented programming language. It enables you to build interactive elements on your website. These interactive elements can be buttons, text boxes, dynamic content, multimedia and the like. In a world where static websites don’t exist anymore, if you want to become a developer, you have to learn JavaScript.


If you have basic computer literacy and working knowledge of html5 and css3, you can confidently start this course.

Introduction To JQuery

This course teaches you to use jQuery to its maximum potential. You’ll learn to work with HTML documents and make server-side calls. Knowing HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript enables you to build a pretty resilient website, and JQuery serves as the icing on the cake. It enables you to do more with fewer lines of code.

About JQuery

By definition, JQuery is a JavaScript library. Using it allows you to achieve more with your JavaScript endeavors with less coding. It enables you to select html elements and perform actions on them. It is hosted by Microsoft and Google, and you can put it on your website by using one of the CDNs from the two.


If you have working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and have already tried building a couple of websites, you should do this course.

Introduction To Bootstrap

This course will start with the fundamentals of bootstrap and teach you how to build responsive websites.

About Bootstrap

Bootstrap is a web framework that is built for front-end web development. It consists of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript templates.


You will need working knowledge of html, css, JavaScript, and jQuery before you can try your hand at bootstrap.

Week 4

You were not a developer, you took the front-end web developer boot camp, and you now know your way around HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery. How do you showcase your newly acquire skills to the world?

You build a project portfolio.

To help you build a portfolio, and to test the skills you have acquired through this boot camp, we assign a final project to you. You work on the final project where you build a website as per specifications, and the website is then assessed by subject matter experts. Once they approve of the website, you get a certificate of completion for the front-end developer boot camp. Adding that to your resume, as well as a solid portfolio, will do wonders for your job prospects.

You do not need customers to build websites, but you do need a portfolio to show potential employers and customers what they can expect when they hire you.
