About this Course:

As technology becomes an integral part of almost all industries today, it is pertinent to remember that no business can be entirely successful without utilizing modern tech. As more and more businesses are relying on the cloud technology, the demand for cloud administrators is also increasing. As per an estimate, Systems Administrator with Cloud Computing skills earn around  $75,776 per annum.

This is an advanced level course. This course has been specifically designed with cloud administrators in mind. In particular, it targets those cloud administrators whose role includes designing, installing and configuring a cloud infrastructure.

Before delving into the details of this course, let us try and understand the basics of a private cloud. A private cloud can be termed as a set of cloud computing and storage services offered either over the Internet or a private internal network which is walled off to the general public. Only authorized individuals can have access to this network.

This course is designed to address the fundamental principles of configuration and the techniques needed to execute a private cloud infrastructure using Microsoft System Center 2012 R2. This course  also teaches students how to manage a cloud environment and handle its  administration while also going into detail of how one can monitor the infrastructure and applications that are in the cloud.

  • A basic previous understanding of Windows Server 2012 R2 operating system.
  • A basic previous understanding of Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
  • A basic previous understanding of previous versions of System Center products.
  • A basic previous understanding of Microsoft SharePoint.
  • A basic previous understanding of Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V.
  • A basic previous understanding of Microsoft Windows Azure.
  • A basic previous understanding of Microsoft Windows Azure Pack.
  • A basic previous understanding of Networking and storage experience.
  • A basic previous understanding of cloud management processes.
  • Previous working experience  with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Previous working experience  with Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF).
