About this course:

This azure training course is designed to provide information regarding the process of managing the security and identity within Microsoft Azure. Students, enrolled in this course will learn about the different SaaS services that are available in Microsoft Azure, which can be integrated in existing Microsoft Azure solutions.

Course Objective:

Once these azure classes are complete, students will gain the capabilities to:

  • Use Microsoft Azure AD B2B or B2C to integrate already existing solutions with external identity providers.

  • Develop solutions based on hybrid identity.

  • Understand the use of Microsoft Azure AD’s advanced features and when to use them, like MFA, Managed Service Identity, and Privileged Identity Management.

  • Understand how to use Key Vault to protect application secrets.

  • Use Microsoft Azure Storage features and SQL Database to secure and protect the application’s data.

  • Use Cognitive Services to explain the different API that are available for use. 

  • Understand the Language Understanding (LUIS) service, Face API, and Speech API, and when to use them.

  • Explain the relationship to Microsoft Azure Bot Service, and the Bot Framework.

  • Depending on the requirements of the solution, identity what the ideal pricing option for the Microsoft Azure Storage would be.

  • Understand and determine the performance threshold for the Storage service of Microsoft Azure.

  • For components of specific solutions, identity which storage blobs can be used from the different options available.

  • For SMB Operations, determine how best to use the Microsoft Azure File Service.

  • Determine the solutions for which the use of virtual devices or StorSimple physical can be beneficial and learn how to use them.

  • Compare and then differentiate between the monitoring services for applications, networking and the Microsoft Azure platform.

  • For those solutions which are being hosted in Microsoft Azure, develop an alert scheme which provides you timely alerts.

  • For the data and infrastructure that is being hosted in Microsoft Azure, choose appropriate backup options.

  • Automate the implementation of resources which will be used in the future for scaling nd backup recovery purposes.

  • Develop a resource group.

  • Add further resources to a resource group.

  • Implement an ARM template to a resource group with the objective or integrating an API or Logic App with the API Management service.

  • In order to ensure high performance and scale, develop a multi-region implementation plan or an App Service Plan.

  • Use the API Management Service to integrate it with a Logic App or an API.

  • In order to ensure high performance and scale, develop a multi-region implementation plan or an App Service Plan.

  • Understand the Cloud Design Patterns and explain the different patterns available in it.

  • Use load balancers for distributing the network traffic across multiple loads.

  • Develop a hybrid connectivity scenario between on-premise and cloud.

  • For one or multiple virtual machines, develop an availability set.

  • Explain the various differences between update and fault domains.

  • Author a VM Scale Set ARM template.

This azure training course can be undertaken by successful Cloud Solutions Architects, who will start this azure course by gaining practical experience with operating systems, cloud infrastructure, billing, virtualization, networking, and storage structures.
