Scammers are always trying to getting your information, and they will try some sophisticated ways to do that, but you have to be smart enough to outsmart them in this pursuit. Social media accounts are being hacked all the time; that is why it is important to filter all the content reaching you and if something strikes as alarming then don't try to open or interact with it no matter how authentic the source is.
