Configuration Manager offers different solutions for managing PCs, servers, and devices. Choose the solution that's right for your organization. Base your decision on the device platforms you need to manage and the management functionality you need.
You can use these device management solutions by themselves or in combination with each other. For example, you can use the client-based management approach to manage the computers and servers in your organization and also use co-management to manage internet-based laptops. By combining approaches this way, you can cover all of your device management needs.

I would rather do the labs in the middle of the coarse as shown in the "Textbook" as opposed to grouping them all at the end of the day. By doing chunks at a time it would be easier to stay engaged then bu haying 6 hours of straight lecture, then however long it takes to do the labs.

I thought this class would be much more advanced.. digging into more real world practical experience. The labs, especially, were very beginnerish. Paul is a great instructor but he hasn't worked in the industry for a long time so most of his knowledge is book based, not experience based. I'm prepared for the exam, but really wanted more of the cloud services tools and newer functionalities in the latest SCCM that weren't covered at all (on demand app install, deploying task sequences as apps, application groups, etc.)

The course itself was great; however, I did not receive any information on how to join the class until the day of and it wasn’t clearly communicated to the overall group what time the course began. I would strongly suggest that there is more focus in preparing students with the proper materials to take the course. As late as Thursday there were talks about other students that did not have access to the course ebook. I received all of my information on Monday by asking how to get into the class almost an hour after the start time.

The labs were structured well, but I wish we did them as my instructor was going through the material instead of at the end of the day. I also wish they used some more realworld examples rather than the basic textbookstyle ones. The labs also were so intertwined that if you messed up in one spot, it would throw you off for the entire rest of the lessons. It would have been nice to get some help. Because some of the labs took so long, the class was already over for the day by the time I needed help. Our TA was around, but never said anything after the first lab day. Also, I think it would be nicer if the class wasn't so long each day, and maybe halfdays would be better to digest the material we learned. Paul was absolutely wonderful to learn from, however, and his witty stories and strong level of knowledge and professionalism made it a great environment to learn in.
