About this Exam:

Applicants are developers with minimum one year of work experience designing HTML in an event-driven, object-based programming paradigm and important business reasoning for a wide range of app kinds, hardware, and software platforms utilizing JS.

Targeted Audience:

  • Proficient developers having a year of programming experience and are interested in building applications using JS and CSS3 HTML5 (either MS Windows Store Applications for MS Windows 8 or Web applications)

Pre-requisites:

Candidates should have understanding of the following:

  • At least 3 months of experience in creating Web apps, including but not limited to writing simple JS code
  • A month experience in developing MS Windows client apps
  • A month experience in using MS Visual Studio 2010 or 2012
  • Managing events and program flow
  • Asynchronous programming
  • Validating data and functioning with data collections such as JQuery
  • Handling exceptions and errors
  • Arrays and collections
  • Working with operators, expressions, and variables
  • Working with methods and prototypes
  • Decision statements
  • Iteration statements

Certifications:

70-480 examination is one of three necessary examinations to acquire MCSA: Web Applications certification. Another necessary examinations to earn acquire certification are 70-483 and 70-486.
