Additionally, students enrolling for the exam should be fully acquainted with the implementation of HA controller configurations, SyncMirror® software for rapid data recovery, or ONTAP® solutions with either single- or multi-node configurations.

NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer-Data Protection Specialist

Students obtain tested skills for handling NetApp disaster recovery solutions, comprehending customer data storage requirements, and implementing backup and recovery solutions. The NCIE-DP certifications and logos will be provided to those students who have successfully cleared the NetApp Certified Data Administrator, ONTAP (NCDA) certification, and then proceeded to clear the NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer—Data Protection (NS0-513) exam. Candidates are expected to acquire an at least 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP replication technology, planning and implementing data protection solutions, configuring backup and recovery tool, running backup and disaster recovery deployments.

NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer-SAN Specialist, E-Series

Students interested in this certification are expected to possess at least 6 to 12 months of experience in planning, implementing, and validating end-to-end SAN solutions for users in iSCSI and FC environments.
